This is a wonderful vintage men’s smoking jacket or short lounging robe featuring an Asian inspired patterned satin fabric

The label at the back sweatband states that it is a size  “7 1/8” - the European type sizing of 57 is also indicated

Condition:  This 1930s sequinned jacket is in very good condition with no wear

It has a dropped waist and its skirt has a box pleat at the centre front

the clasp measures 9 1/2 in width and the purse measures 6 1/2 in height exclusive of its handle - the handle has a fall of 5 1/4

This 1950s wool gabardine raincoat has raglan style sleeves, a high set collar, hidden button front and adjustable 2 button belts at the sleeve cuffs. The coat has a diagonal pocket built into either side and a 15 1 2 kick vent at the centre back. It has a tartan patterned wool zip in protective lining and is lined in black satin rayon.
