Our version is so close to the original that owners of Oahu instruments buy LS 6 pickups and hardware from us for use in the restoration of their prized guitars. The LS 6 is set up for open D tuning (DADF#AD) but other tunings can be accommodated by installing strings that are gauged for those tunings.
