Antique Sterling Silver Button Hook Adie Lovekin Birmingham tropical print dress much of it unusedThis is an antique sterling silver button hook that is hallmarked with the anchor, denoting the Birmingham assay office, the initials A & L. LD., which stand for Adie & Lovekin, and the Queens head. I cant make out the last hallmark, which might be a date letter or the lion. The Queens head, however, means that the piece pre dates 1890 and the style of the Adie & Lovekin initials are known to have been used between 1889 and 1890. This antique sterling
