Vintage Thirty Eight Special "Rock & Roll Strategy" T-Shirt Novelty partially because of singer JesseThirty Eight Special are a rock band from Jacksonville, FL founded in 1974 by Don Barnes and Donnie Van Zant, the brother of Skynyrd's Ronnie and Johny Van Zant. In 1988, the band released Rock & Roll Strategy, their eighth album. The record featured the track "Second Chance" which was a hit, going to #6 on the Billboard Charts. It was also the band's final release with A&M Records. They have continued playing to this day. This original Thirty Eight
