This is a very nice effort in terms of its balance and density but it’s carrying more wood influence than I can personally warm up to as it sweetens and rounds off the finish somewhat

The palate is full and firm with lovely vivacity and loads of mineral sparks

youthfully austere and Zen-like finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth

Old vines. RS 41 g l. Cask sample. A little deeper and less exotic than the Limestone Kabinett but still intensely aromatic, peach and apricot and then more exotic as it opens. Fuller and more intense in the mouth, still with that crackling dry acidity. Reminds me of a May garden like the one I am sitting in right now. Honeysuckle. And
