A rough rock, cut and polished on one side with a natural back and a cut base to stand on. Dimensions at widest points approximately 185 mm x 150 mm x 75 mm thick. Weighs 3,210 grams. Starry Jasper is a vibrant red jasper with intrusions of quartz veining along with splashes of silvery , metallic looking pyrite.( Almost no pyrite in this piece) It was collected many years ago from a large open cut gold mine at
