The vines for Clariette, planted in 1982, are harvested from the sandy bottom of the slope, which have richer soils than the Ctes du Rhne. During vinification, each varietal of every vineyard is fermented separately in very old oak casks, with assemblage taking place in enamel lined tanks before bottling. Fermentation is allowed to begin
