He released his 11th album, the Billboard charting The Last DJ, and toured in support of it. He was also induced into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame that year. It makes sense, though. The Florida born rocker had been in the public eye since the mid 70s, first with his band Mudcrutch and later with solo efforts, and even a little later with the supergroup The Traveling Wilburys.
