That is the paramount attraction of Deep Eddy, the oldest swimming pool in the State of Texas. Built during the Depression era by the Works Progress Administration, the pool began as a simple swimming hole in the Colorado River. The pool fed from cold water springs from the Edwards Aquifer (the
