Description
(from one-third Beugnons and two-thirds Châtains)
A strikingly good effort for the vintage that is worth a look
The pretty 2011 Barolo Tre Tine shows elegance
the tannins are still chiselled and serrated
and structured style that’s going to reward bottle age
Philippe Colin, Chassagne Montrachet Vergers other_regions_italy (from one-third Beugnons and two-thirds(from 3 parcels in Les Vergers proper). Moderate reduction overshadows the fruit though notes of petrol and wood poke through. Otherwise there is good richness to the sleek and caressing medium weight flavors that possess a beguiling texture while delivering very solid depth and persistence on the balanced finale. This should both drink well young and reward 5 to 8 years of cellaring.
